Scanship has ongoing deliveries to the newbuilds for a total of 31 cruise ships on 13 unique ship series to enter service from 2017 until 2022. The ships equipped with Scanship technology will be delivered from Fincantieri, STX France, Meyer Werft, Meyer Turku, Kleven and Vard. All ships will include Scanship AWP advanced wastewater purification systems designed for the Alaska effluent standards. Twenty ships will be fully compliant with the new wastewater effluent standard for special area IMO Marpol MEPC 227(64) chapter 4.2 with nutrient removal. Sixteen ships will be fully equipped with a total clean ships solution for Scanship with garbage handling, incinerators, foodwaste processing equipment and sludge handling.
