Scanship has entered into a contract to supply a dewatering and drying system for a fish hatchery currently under construction at Salangen in Norway. The system will handle bio residues from a Kruger Kaldnes RAS system installed for Salangfisk AS, a subdivision of Salaks AS.
“This will be our second Scanship system supplied to a growing aquaculture market, in which we are confident to create significant revenue opportunities going forward. Our unique technology originally developed for environmental compliance in the cruise industry, will enable sustainable fish farming“; says Scanship’s Chief Development Officer Asgeir Wien in a statement.
The system will be operational during summer 2017.
