CEO Henrik Badin and Scanship wins prestigious award in category “Services” at the national final EY Entrepreneur of the Year held at Radisson Blue in Oslo yesterday.

Even if this award is presented to Henrik as the leading entrepreneur in accordance to the statues of the award, he underlined that the growth seen over the last years is a result of a team effort.

“Wow – This is really inspiring. This means a lot to us. We are a large crew that wake up every morning and go to work trying to save this world“, Henrik says in his acceptance speech.

“We have had tremendous success this far. We have worked relentlessly over many years in the cruise industry. Today we have implemented Norwegian environmental technology on a third of the entire cruise fleet, which is a feat that requires a tremendous effort, and I would like to thank all our employees“, he adds, promoting the entire Scanship team as those whom put in the effort required to create the results that the company now are presenting.

Henrik also express his gratitude towards the families behind the employees. He underlines the importance of a supporting spouse and family, allowing him self and the employees to continue developing the company to further growth while helping our customers being environmentally sustainable and keeping our oceans cleaner.

“I would like to thank our clients and of course everyone that believes in us, our shareholders”, he concludes.
